Will you need to see our venue before the wedding?
On most occasions, the answer is no. If we haven’t been to your venue previously, we may have a few more questions just to check accessibility of the site. If your venue have any concerns on locations and would like to meet with us, we can do this if your wedding is taking place in East Devon or Exeter.
Is this only for children?
Absolutely not. We are suitable for all ages and dogs too!
How many rides do we get?
Unlimited!
Are we allowed to drive the train?
Unfortunately not, this is for health and safety and insurance reasons.
Are we able to sit inside the train for photos?
Definitely, we can help with any photos too!
Can I dress the train up?
Within reason – yes! If you have flowers, lights, bunting, props or something from your theme that you’d like to incorporate, just let us know.
What do you bring with you?
The Wedding Express is a 10 1/4 gauge miniature railway and we bring 2 carriages with us. We also bring the rail for the train to run on, which is up to 100m long (not applicable for the Saver package). We have a train signal and whistle sign too. Depending on the weather, we’ll bring our gazebo for guests to board under if it’s raining. There will be 2 staff present on the day.
Do you need power or water?
No power or water required, we are totally self sufficient.
Can you go inside?
No, we are an outside only attraction.

What else can the train be used for?
The Wedding Express doesn’t just have to be a ride! You can use us for your confetti shot, photos with smoke grenades, bubbles etc. We are up for any creative ideas!
